Kick back on one of the golden sand beaches and stop for a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants that line the promenade. This stretch of coastline is a windsurfing hotspot and attracts water sports enthusiasts from all over the world. Whether you've splashed out on an All Inclusive break or you've found a cheap winter sun deal, beach holidays in Costa Teguise offer something for everybody.

Costa Teguise is home to five sandy beaches. Las Cucharas is one of the most popular beaches and attracts wind and kite surfers from across the globe. Bastian beach is a great pick for families for its sheltered sands and calm waters. El Jabillo is blessed with fine white sand. Los Charcos can get windy which means you can often find a quiet patch of sand to relax on. Playa Ancia is a little off the beaten track but is the locals' favourite.

The sun shines all year round in Costa Teguise and the windy conditions make it a perfect spot for wind and kite surfers. This is a great opportunity to try something new on your holiday, even if you’ve never done it before. There’re water sports centres all along the shoreline but Las Cucharas is the most popular spot if you want to learn from the pros. You can also try your hand at kayaking, parasailing and diving in Costa Teguise.

Head to the nearby Aquapark Costa Teguise to ride the waterslides or catch the sun on the lazy river. It’s the perfect day out for families with kids but couples and groups will love the Aquapark too. The Lanzarote Aquarium is home to turtles, sharks and tropical fish. Take a family boat trip to Lobos Island to explore the nature reserve or climb Cauldron Mountain.
