Whether you’re travelling as a family, couple or with friends, you’ll find plenty to do in Corralejo. Kids will love burning off their energy at Baku Water Park whilst fans of nature will enjoy the wildlife both on land and underwater. For a great day out, a trip to the capital of Puerto del Rosario is a must. You’ll find tons to do on your beach holidays in Corralejo, so check out our deals today.

The beach is great but for those who want to get wet ’n’ wild on some water slides, Baku Water Park in Corralejo is a perfect choice. The 16,000 square feet of heart pumping and vertiginous water slides, relaxing lazy river, jacuzzi, wave pool and great kids’ pool means there’s something for everyone here. However, if you’re keen to hit the beach, the huge variety of water sports available is impressive. Try your hand at windsurfing, jet skiing or surfing if you fancy a challenge or for something a little more relaxing there are plenty of snorkelling and diving classes.

The environment in Fuerteventura is fascinating and has earned the island its place as a UNESCO protected Biosphere. That’s why it makes such a great location for people who enjoy hiking and spotting the diverse nature from dolphins, turtles, and lizards to many different types of fish. If you aren’t one for hiking or the weather is just too hot then head over to Oasis Park in La Lajita near Las Palmas for its fantastic zoo with big cats, monkeys, hippos, and sea lions and even camels that you can rides.

By European standards, the capital city of Puerto del Rosario is quite small but with a large shopping centre, marina and promenade with a piazza-style open space filled with interesting public art, a 40 minute trip into Puerto del Rosario would be well worth it. If you wanted to catch some culture on your holidays to Corralejo, then the brand new auditorium ‘Palacio de Formacion Congresos’ puts on many concerts and performances. Its marina is now one of the main stop offs for cruises travelling around the Canary Islands as the city has a real authentic Canarian vibe.
