Spend your holiday exploring the sandy beach, have a go at exciting water sports, play a round or two of golf on a nearby course, or enjoy great views of the Med from the restaurants and cafes on the waterfront. With so much to keep you busy, the question is what will you do first?

The shallow waters and sandy beach at Alcudia are perfect for  a range of water sports. Windsurfing, kite surfing and banana boats can all be found along Alcudia’s beaches, and if you want to explore the coastline even further, join one of the boat trips or excursions that regularly depart from the resort. If you’d rather keep your feet on dry land, a fantastic choice of golf courses can be found in the area.

With a history stretching back almost a thousand years, Alcudia is a great destination for anyone who wants to learn about Majorca’s fascinating past. Walk the length of the 14th century walls, discover the ruins of Roman Pollentia or spend an afternoon wandering through the town’s winding streets, admiring the historic homes and churches. The old town of Alcudia is also home to a number of restaurants and cafes making it a great place for an atmospheric meal out.

Though it has a number of attractions, Alcudia is best known for its beaches. The long stretch that runs along the coast by Puerto de Alcudia is one of the most popular in Majorca and boasts a range of amenities, as well as a great choice of water sports and activities. For less crowded beaches, head away from the town towards Playa Muro or jump in the car and visit the unspoilt sandy cove at Coll Baix, a short drive from Alcudia.
