Experience a Live Volcano

Definitely a once in a lifetime experience, it really is amazing to stand on the volcano’s crater floor and feel the force of boiling water rushing under the ground below your feet. The faint hearted will be pleased to know that the Nissyros Volcano has not been active for 16,000 years. To get here take the boat over to Kos island; you can admire the scenic views along the way.

Step back in Time

Kos proudly flaunts its history so take a stroll back in time and admire the castles and ancient monuments. Stroll around the Castle of the Knights of Saint John or visit the famous Asklepieion temple of worship. For a bit of gruesome history visit the Roman Odeon, a similar construction to the Roman colosseum, people used to gather here and watch the fights between the prisoners held captive.
