Imagine yourself swirling down a waterslide, swimming through the wave pool and then chilling out on a cruise down the lazy river. These 11 awesome waterparks just made your next summer holiday even better.

Costa Caribe Aquatic Park, Tarragona, Spain

The Costa Caribe Aquatic Park is part of the PortAventura resort in Tarragona, Spain. Like its neighbouring theme park Aventura World, the Aquatic Park has thrilling rides and shows but with a big difference, it’s all wet and wild! Costa Caribe’s rides include swirling water slides. Caribbean themed pools and a devilishly vertical 21-metre free-fall drop.

Fasouri Watermania, Limassol, Cyprus

The Fasouri Watermania Park won a TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award in 2016, so you know it’s going to be great! Expect this waterpark to have everything you wish for in size and style. Enjoy the adrenaline fuelled waterslides, 400-metre long lazy river, huge wave pool and sun lounging spots.

WaterWorld, Ayia Napa, Cyprus

WaterWorld is designed on an ancient Greek theme with rides and attractions named after famous Greek legends. Visit Apollo’s plunge, drop on the Atlantis log ride and swim alongside classical statues and ancient ships.  If you’re feeling really adventurous take an odyssey down the lazy river.

Slide and Splash, Lagoa, Portugal

If you’re lucky enough to be on holiday in the Algarve then visit Lagoa and experience the Slide and Splash waterpark. The sixteen acre site of fun-filled rides and attractions is just pure fun in the sun.  If you manage to experience all the slides then check out the wildlife attractions too; young ones will love the parrot shows.

WaterPark, Faliraki, Rhodes

This is the largest waterpark in Greece and is located on the stunning island of Rhodes. Prepare yourself for extreme slides, black hole plunges and kamikaze drops. There’s even a giant space bowl that swirls you around in circles before a stomach turning plunge. This is truly a world class waterpark.

Caneva World, Italy

Lake Garda may be famous for its peace and tranquillity, but Caneva World really shakes things up.  This double whammy of a theme park is split between a Movieland and Acquapark. Both have wet and wild rides but the Acquapark’s swirling concoction of typhoons, kamikaze dives and crazy rivers creates a thrilling day out.

Acuqacity in Mallorca is just a stone’s throw away from El Arenal beach and is a fun day out for families and couples. Hidropark, Alcudia Mallorca.
